What is important to us in the making of Lafetki

   People are what give life meaning

   We believe that food is merely the occasion, whilst people are the reason we gather round the table. We believe that people need to connect with one another, but are losing the ability to do so because of widespread screen addiction. We want to communicate in a more meaningful, more genuine way, more often, and to enjoy the similarities and differences between us.

   Caring for the future

   Lafetki is a product that does not pollute the environment. A single wipe biodegrades in 2–6 weeks. The packaging for Lafetki is made from biopolyethylene, which, unlike conventional polyethylene, is produced from the processing of biological materials such as used cooking oil. Lafetki wipes are disposed of in the bin, whilst their packaging is recycled.

   Defects are effects

   Real things come in all shapes and sizes. We don’t throw products away just because they look different. Sometimes we have duplicate questions in a single pack. Sometimes the label is stuck on crookedly. If you happen to get a different product, it means you’ve got one of our few special packs. For collectors :)
